Data Sheet

Powered by a rechargeable battery, CASS measures ultrasonic pulses it launches into a container. Return echoes from these 0.2 to 1.0 MHz pulses are analyzed in terms of time-of-flight to extract physical property measurements of the material in the container. CASS also analyzes return echoes to detect contraband in the form of submerged packages and concealed compartments in liquid filled containers and solid form materials. With its ultrasonic sensor head, CASS can interrogate containers ranging in size from about 6 to 96 inches in diameter.
